 Commemoration of the Rationalist Day (18th May)

The Rationalists Association of Sri Lanka Commemorates the Rationalist Day on 18th May. The birthday of the great philosopher, mathematician and free thinker Bertrand Russell, 18th May,  has been proposed as the Rationalist Day and several programs are organised by the Rationalists Association to make the public aware of the unscientific concepts followed by some people hoping to direct the public towards the reality.

ජාතික හේතුවාදී දිනය (මැයි 18 වන දා)

සෑම වසරකම මැයි මස 18 වෙනි දින ජාතික හේතුවාදී දිනය සැමරීමට ශ්‍රී ලංකා හේතුවාදී සංගමය විසින් කටයුතු සම්පාදනය කරනු ලැබේ.

ලොවම පිළිගත් දාර්ශනිකයෙකු ගණිතඥයෙකු මෙන්ම නිදහස් චින්තකයකු වූ බර්ට්රම් රසල් උත්තමයාගේ උපන්දිනය වන මැයි මස 18 වෙනිදා ජාතික හේතුවාදී දිනය ලෙස යෝජනා ස්ථීරත්වයෙන් පිළිගෙන ශ්‍රී ලංකා හේතුවාදී සංගමය එදින විවිධ වැඩසටහන් සංවිධානය කරනු ලබන අතර අවිද්‍යාත්මක සංකල්ප මෙන්ම යථාර්ථවාදය පිළිබඳව ජනතාව දැනුවත් කිරීමට සියවර ගනු ලැබේ.
